ICS Enrollment Information

The International Charter School (ICS) is a tuition-free Public Charter School open to all Rhode Island residents. Admission is determined through a lottery process.

🗓️ Application Timeline (2027–2028 School Year)

Lottery Application Opens: November 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
Application Deadline: March 12, 2027, at 5:00 p.m.
Lottery Date: April 1, 2027

If your student is currently enrolled at International Charter School (ICS),  you do not need to reapply for that student.

However, if your student has a sibling who would like to attend ICS, you must submit a new application for that sibling through the lottery system. Siblings of current ICS students receive preference over non-sibling applicants in the lottery.

To be eligible for Kindergarten for the 2027–2028 school year, children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2027.
