ICS Enrollment Information
The International Charter School (ICS) is a tuition-free public charter school open to all Rhode Island residents. Admission is determined through a lottery process.
🗓️ Application Timeline (2026–2027 School Year)
Lottery Application Opens: November 18, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
Application Deadline: March 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Lottery Date: April 1, 2026
If your student is already enrolled at International Charter School (ICS) you do not need to reapply for that student.Â
If your enrolled student has a sibling, you do need to apply for that sibling to attend International Charter School (ICS).

- Under “My Students,” select Add a Student if your child is not already listed.
- Choose Begin Application to start the process and select your preferred schools.
- You may log in at any time to update or edit your application prior to the submission deadline.

Visiting ICS
For families interested in visiting our school, ICS offers annual Open Houses as well as tours by appointment. Our 2026 Open Houses will take place on Friday, January 23 at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 24 at 10:00 a.m.
