Supporting our internationally minded learners is fun, easy, and rewarding.
As an independent public charter school, the International Charter School relies on assistance from a variety of sources—both public and private—to carry out our mission. We are grateful for our community of donors who provide financial and volunteer support.

4 Fun, Easy Ways to Be Involved: 1. Give to Our Annual Fund
We are building a community of annual supporters who together are helping ICS continue to excel as a school. We have identified three main areas of need:
- Students – learning materials such as books, art supplies, musical instruments, athletic equipment, as well as field trips, special guest visits, and more
- Teachers – professional development opportunities, International Baccalaureate® conferences, and more
- School – technology equipment, playground and garden needs, facilities upkeep and improvement, and more
Gifts to our Annual Fund will be used to support these needs and improve the learning and teaching experience at ICS. Donations to ICS are tax deductible.

2. Join or Support Our PA
The ICS Parent Association (PA) promotes a variety of events and initiatives throughout the year to support ICS. We encourage you to be involved by joining the PA, volunteering, attending an event, or making a donation.

Amazon Smile
Visit Amazon Smile and sign in to your Amazon account. Search for the “International Charter School Corporation” in Pawtucket, RI in the search box (be sure to pick the right school!). Shop through Amazon Smile and a percentage of the purchase price will go to ICS.
Box Tops for Education
This is a great way to help support ICS—and now it’s easier than ever! All you need is your phone—no more clipping and sending Box Tops to school. Simply download the Box Tops app, log in, select “International Charter School,” and shop as you normally would. Then simply scan your store receipt to find participating products. The app will automatically credit ICS’s Box Tops earnings online and send the school a check twice a year. Each box top scanned is worth 10¢.
Donors Choose
Our teachers propose classroom projects and field trips that need extra support through this national website. Visit Donors Choose and search “International Charter School” to find projects to support at ICS.
Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving. ICS encourages our community to open your hearts and wallets in support of organizations and causes you believe in. We also invite you to support ICS through our Giving Tuesday Facebook campaign. Together we can make the world a better place.
Stop & Shop A+ School Rewards Program
Register your card online and support ICS every time you use your Stop & Shop card. Be sure to select “International Charter School” from the menu so ICS can receive funds through this program.
4. Volunteer
School Improvement Team
The ICS school improvement team (SIT) is made up of representatives of our school community who are interested in making our school a better place for learning and teaching. The SIT works to address what ICS can do to improve students performance. The team’s work is to gather and analyze information that can be used to make decisions that drive changes in our school. The SIT meets periodically through the school year.
